Maybe if its serviced in the past by BMW agents its possible too find the BMW history for it on a central computer and I'm doing the guy a
disservice, but it was traded in with no history.

I bought my Mondeo with no history, priced to match. I noticed it had an AA tax disc holder and called in at my nearest AA service place. I asked if
they had a record of the car and they printed me a full service history out for free, it was on their central computer

Did your son buy it with history?? Could the company not have done a previous owners check and contacted the owner previous to your son to obtain some
history...
Cheers

Smart know the whole history of my car from it leaving the factory to now. I took it in for a service and the guy said "Ooo, you do know it was
silver when it left the factory?!!". Yes, they have interchangable panels so that you can change the colour if you want to. "Oh, yeah,
sorry".
If you car has had main dealer servicing, chances are that there'll be a record of it.

Doen't say full service history though, maybe they just had it serviced so now it's got a service history.
Just hope it doesn't go for more that your lad got

You could always ask the seller ? Not suggesting you put the cat amongst the pigeons of course.
