1st Choice Spares
Has anyone ever used this company?
I used them in March 2004 to search for something, since then I have received a couple of txt messages from them.
Today I get 2 saying:
From:87070
You are subscribed to 1stChoice Unlimited Spares Location for £1.50 per month until you send STOP to 87070. Helpline 08707 808226 - Save Pounds Off
Spares.
Now, like I say, I have only once used their website (and didn't purchase anything). Is it right that they now charge me £1.50 per month,
shouldn't I be consulted first?
Surely this is wrong?

Yeh I have used them. Started to get those messages too. I just cancelled it. If I need them again reregister and then cancel it when you have the
bits. I think it is the small print on the website.

0870 is just national rate. About 8p/min.
Are you a Mac user or a retard?

Yeah, I checked my latest 3 bills and I've not been charged by them, although searching on tinterner reveals others have.
Now cancelled it and sent an email detailing my feelings towards their little scam

Think this is the right watchdog. http://www.icstis.org.uk/
Getting 'Watchdog' on their case is probably also a good way of getting your own back.
