JOE 9T
Still pestering DVLA for the reg I want
JON 150N it ain't ever been issued and they tell me it will be up for auction one day, anyway they send a news letter every month with
the latest numbers to be auctioned and the reserve on them, found this whilst looking thru the "J" section........JOE 9T with a
reserve of £600, don't know what it will fetch but caught my eye with what I would guess is a low reserve for that number.
Any Joe's out there fancy a pop ??

Last time I showed any interest in a private plate "S1MON", it sold for about £90k.
Soon lost interest!

Not surprised, plates with JON, JOE ect are very common compared too the one and only plate that can spell S1MON, typically JON 150W for instance
sells for under £1k at auction including transfer, JON 1 would be up there with S1MON though in the price stakes, just thought JOE 9T looked well.

You cant have D0 Nut if the "O" is Zero.
I want G 0 DDX my amateur callsign. Radio Ham calls were released and most held for hams.. Hant have mine cos of the Zero.
Nearest I can get is G 10 DDX, However that would mean me having to move to Northern Ireland... and I am not going there.
I'm not that bothered now

I can't blieve that L10CST was available for £250 quid on the DVLA website last year. Of course, not everyone wants their car to be known as a
locost...

I wanted to buy CBV 835K. It had never been issued but the DVLA would not sell it to me directly. Instead they insisted that it was included in their
next auction with a start price of £250
Hammer Price £250.00
VAT on Hammer Price @ 17.5% £43.75
Buyer's Premium (@7.5%) £18.75
VAT on Buyer's Premium (@ 17.5%) £3.28
Assignment Fee £80.00
Total £395.78
Quote from DVLA email
"A minimum bid/reserve price of £250 has been set for the registration number CBV 835K. (which is not negotiable). Bidding will not start
below this price, neither will it be sold by any other means before or after the auction."
As the auction was before I had finished the car and was not guanteed to not get a "Q" plate I did not bother
ps They also insist that you buy an auction catalogue for £7.50 even though you are only interested in 1 plate

I can think of better things to spend £250+ on than a piece of plastic which you can't see when you're in the car and make the owners look
like sad egomaniacs anyway
