test Area???
Does any body know of a suitable area in the cheshire area where i can run my car in before the SVA because i have fully rebuilt the engine and want
to run it in and get it on a rolling road to ensure that i pass the emmisions, also to bed in the brakes and find and design faults!!!!

Taken from SVA4 booklet under "How Do I Apply For A Test"
"You will be asked to provide certain technical details in relation to the vehicle, e.g. maximum speed of the vehicle and maximum design weights"
So, officer I was mearly preparing for my SVA when you caught me speeding in this un-roadworthy vehicle with no tax, insurance or registration. .

James, I'm Reading area and will have the same problem as you. I have however done a few track days with my own car. The last one was just the other
side of Swindon on an airfield. Our plan is to get the car built, and then test on the airfield. The only downer is there will be other cars going
round whith drivers who have confidence their cars will hold together when braking.
What might be worth researching is the cost to hire the airfield for an afternoon so we can have exclusive use . .. .

Good plan that man! Hadn't thought of that- there's a couple not too far away and they're deserted to the extent of tumble weed on a Sunday pm.
There is also of course the cul-de-sac I live in- be a good chance to test the 0-100-0 abilities of the car!
The other place of course is Sainsbury's car park near me- all the learner drivers go there on a Sunday but at least it'll be fun scaring the cr@p
out of them!
