demise & longevity of 7 type cars

How long do 7 type cars last and what is the main cause of their demise?

They aren't going to succomb to body rot being made of aluminium and the chassis being thicket that car body work will last longer too. Being easy/cheap to work on they can be rebuilt.

So I reckon the main cause of demise would be prangs on road and on the track where it is uneconomical to repair hence a huge percentage of those made will be still around.

What do you think?
