Custom Chrome - Service!
Seeing as i 'bigged up' Rally design last week for a fast turnaround i thought i'd better report on my experience with Custom
Chrome.
They gave me a quote over the phone. A week later i popped in without an appointment or warning with the final measurements and despite being a busy
saturday they got my bits made up there and then. The guy made a mistake so the boss sent him off to do it again. When he came back i asked about
some chrome strip gave me a foot of 5mm x 2" and 3mm x 1". Can't complain.
In all for 20 quid i got the an 18 inch chrome link pipe flared on one end with a 10 degree bend. 3" separate 2"ID tube, huge rubber
mounting bobbin & the two chrome strips. Plus I got a good automotive chat from a real enthusiast.
Found out the bits didn't quite work out so nipped back a few days later. The boss was just closing up. I said it was ok and he refused to let
me go. Personally straightened out the exhaust can inlet (id made it slighly oval). Swaged the bit they'd made to fit the exhaust can exactly
and supplied a new 3" joining bit (as i'd trashed the one i'd bought).
Now ....... if thats not good service i haven't got a clue what is. Never got the owners name but he's a good bloke in my eyes.

Could someone confirm whether this is the same Custom Chrome as in Rotherham please....

95% certain they are different companies from talking to the owner about other things. Custom Chrome in Nuneaton are soley based out of a little
terraced house and unit opposite.
