bit of a build update

hi all, just thought i'd post a couple off pic's of my build so far. for those of you that dont know, i picked up my chassis last week, and this is where i've got to...

floors on, that is what ive been doing for most of the week, as i had to wait for the adhesive and the air riveter to arrive, lots of drilling and filing.

sterring has a tempory fitting, diff and steering rack are also in, you cant see in this photo but the upper front wishbones are also in.

will keep you all updated on further progress.

ATB Alex

P.S isnt the steering wheel enormous, well it will have to do until after SVA

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

It's compulsory.

Did you make the noises as well?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i think i'd want a taller rollbar if it were my car- that one is going to do diddly squat! good luck with the build though.

Ned.

i am sitting right up in the pics ned, i know that it looks a bit small but once you sit back when the seats are in the role bar does its job fine, i guess its personal preference but i like the asymetric look better than the std role bars

been a bit busy with the front suspension this week and i did a little body fitting today as well, just so i could see what the car will look like in the future, i managed to trial fit the rear suspension too but due to DAX leaving me four bushes short, i cant put anything in torqued up

Cheers guys

ATB keep on building
