Charity Suggestion

Been in my garage where I have some jars for keeping change of various denominations.

Got me thinking.

How about a "Forum Charity" for a year on year basis.

Work something like this.

Everyone suggests their fav charity, a vote is taken and most popular gets the cash (No gay peruvian pig farmers etc!!!!!).

Cash is raised by those participating agreeing to collect a certain denomination for the course of that year, then someone can collect all funds and forward.

If is was 10p's for eg, it wouldn't work out too badly for anyone, but I reckon quite a lot could be raised.

ATB

Was just thinking about posting this before i read your topic!

Was thinking along similar lines to BlatChat where they donate to NTL (Nuke the Luek, not the cable company) We could have a charity section where people could advertise things they wish to sell for charity. As simon said maybe change the charity, every so often.

This section could be used for letting people know about charity events and other related bits.

Tritons post about about his CF seats got me thinking.

I agree, great idea, quite a few people on here now and would probably raise quite a bit.

Perhaps we could add a "fine" to the charity box, if you want to air your laundry in public, cool, just put a fiver in the box
