the great egg race
read in the paper yesterday that the great egg race is to return first as a pilot show this month on BBC2 with Richard hammond.
who remembers the orginal series with prof. heinz wolff.

It was one of my must watch programs, them were the days, eh? Only three channels to choose from. I remember Channel Four starting, with Carol
Vordermann in a cardie.
DO NOT PUT ON KNOB OR BOLLOCKS!

The egg race was awesome. I must have been no more than 14 when it was last on - 20 years ago + VAT id guess. I could blame that prog for my career
choice in engineering.
Hammond is entertaing and Ok to ap point but i know what you mean - verging on irritating. Hope he doesnt make a hash out of it. Wonder if they keep
the signature tune - cult classic!

I loved the great egg race, one of my favourite ever programs. Also used to like a series called "Now get out of that".

Haven't got a clue what you're going on about, but I did meet prof Heinz Wolff once and he was madder than a big box of frogs!
