CE Certification

Hey guys, I've been researching CE certification at work. Anyone got any directives (relevant to machinery) as PDFs they could send me?

Cheers,

Alan

in spain they have companies that help you with that.

anyway in spain their is a rule that if you inspect the machine and look for certain things (safety isues) that you can comply the machine your self, ofcourse it will need to have the big red champignon button etc..

I went through this process recently because we manufacture goods lifts which have to be CE Marked after installation. A good starting point is the "Blue Book" which I believe can be downloaded from:

http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/newapproach/legislation/guide/document/1999_1282_en.pdf

Hope this helps,
John.
