vectra probs

I have a 52 plate 3lt diesel vectra that I have had from new, at 6 months old it was on the rolling road where i had it set up for better bhp, and the car has now done 60k, but it keeps blowing the turbo intercooler hose, as in ripping it apart not blowing it off its connections, you can still hear the turbo start to boost around 2400 rpm and you can feel it pull so I don’t think there’s a prob there, it always lets me down as I accelerate, the car is fitted with a dump valve ( none atmospheric so no boy racer whooshes) any ideas chaps before i have to get the £45 an hours guys to look at it ? I cant keep buying £30 hoses every month.

to my untrained eye, its either too much boost, weak pipes or wrong fitting causing them to be stressed. We can probably rule out weak pipes since you've had a few (i assume you used approved parts?). Fitting, you'd know if it was fitted wrong i guess.

So that leaves too much boost, possibly caused by a stuck wastegate? Have you fiddled with the boost control? Is it mechanical or electrical boost control? Does it feel quicker than it did originally?
