Arrg Machine Mart
Jezzus I really should remember not to go there.
Bought a bloody lamp from them. Comes with no bulb so I ask if its bayonett. They said yes. When unpacking its a sodding screw in and I ain't
got non of them arrrggg.
Oh and apparently they can't show you the brightness of the lights as they were told that due to health and saftey they can't demonstrate
it. That really instillied in me a feeling of quality products that did.

Will never shop there again
Air shear packed up after 20cm of use. I just wanted it replacing but was told with a grin that it was a consumable part so no action would be taken.
Second time they have had me over and there wont be a third

Heard the other day that the ratchet part of your rachet spanners and socket sets are not covered by the warranties as they are a "consumable
part!" I rarely buy anything from machine mart, mostly because I don't like the clarke stuff, I've always had Draper tools as we
have a few local suppliers that I know well and look after me when things break etc! Bit more expensive but in my opinion a big step up from
Clarke....whilst not being a stupidly expensive as snap-on and Teng which in my experience don't work any better or give a better warranty than
Draper! Oli.
If your not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room!

Have to agree about the Clark stuff and Draper is so much better but I recently had a Snap on socket that I brought in 1978 changed under warranty No
complaints from me about Snap on

Hmmm, I seem to remember ranting about machine mart a couple of weeks ago!!! I also will not shop there again. For me it comes down to staff attitude
oh and cheap quality at high prices!!

I use machine mart now and then, when I busted my air shears they replaced it no question! I have also bought stuff from their scratch and dent
department there are sometimes good bargains to be had. BTW my local one is Edinburgh the staff are really good and friendly even tip the wink about
the no vat days you don't get invites for !
I do agree that most the stuff they sell is cheap Chinese junk but when you are short of an airline, missing a socket or whatever they can be
handy.
