fax of insurance certificate ok?
need to renew road tax on tintop - can't find insurance certificate; will a fax of the certificate be acceptable by the post office people?

nope, you can't tax with a fax! Do it online, they can do it off you reg number or v5 ref number takes a couple of days to come through though.

They won't accept a fax, but if the insurance company email a copy to you, you can print it off and they will accept that. Don't know why
but they do.

hmmmm, got the tax so there.
Not sure if the man looked at the fax, cunningly cut the top bit of paper that shows transmit time etc: .... my theroy is that maybe no longer needed
since like the on-line taxing, they are able to check the insurance companies database .... or maybe it is my lucky day
