Ford Scorpio
Any body know a rough price tp pay for a ford scorpio failed the MOT on emissions and brakes hoping lambda and pads dont know the mileage just thought
i could make a quick buk as he only wants 150 as thats what its worth in scrap! It has a 2.3 16v up front and an auto box

yea, couple of hundred, poss 400 with mot, but only the 24v ones fetch anyhting at all nowadays

Really depends on the condition of the car, if it's a nice one then go for it. I would say that sale price would be "up to" a grand,
although as said the 2.3 is not as saleable as the 24v. Cheers Ray

dont forget that 2.3 will be the I4 16v.
suposedly heavy, too tall, weak chain cant be tuned and many more disadvantages.
What seems to be a very slated engine on all these forums, a lot of bull gets talked.
I'm sticking a 2l scorp motor into my mk1 escy (it came free with a type 9) and after talking to a few engine builders and looking through the
net and weeding out the rubbish it seems to be very underatted.
