I stripped my carbs down for a complete clean up, and noticed standard jets/needles are fitted.

I'm running a standard airbox, with a K&N panel.

Would I gain any worthwhile power by fitting a suitable dynojet kit??

I got a kit from Andy Bates A B Performance.
It pulls much better as the car weighs 3 times what the bike engine was jetted for.
More inportantly it's much better to not have it running too lean.

i've got 132 jets with sock filter, i think the standard bike with its restrictive airbox runs 115

Does that mean I'm better off binning the airbox and running socks/sausage filter with dynojet kit??? I thought the airbox was as good, and the only reason for not using it was the space/sizing issue?? My airbox keeps the noise down too, but if I'd get more power without it maybe it should go?

I'm sure mine has 120 mains in it, which I think Haynes manual states is standard for year.

sock filter more power, more noise, more air, more fuel, more space under bonnet

bike box less power, less noise, less air, less fuel, less space under bonnet (unless turned 180 degrees)
