55ant - 15/9/09 at 08:15 PM

WTF

mookaloid - 15/9/09 at 08:16 PM

Looks like it might actually have been a Robin Hood of sorts - prototype maybe?

Mark Allanson - 15/9/09 at 08:17 PM

At what point in the planning, did the designer say ' Yes, I'm happy with that, lets start making the molds'

Fearsomly bad!

COREdevelopments - 15/9/09 at 08:20 PM

oh thats bloody hideous!

mangogrooveworkshop - 15/9/09 at 08:23 PM

OH my goodness some one finished the bodywork on Joel ip 1st car

Dangle_kt - 15/9/09 at 08:41 PM

I'm not sure if the front or the back is worse!

graememk - 15/9/09 at 08:45 PM

its a robin hood "go", one of richards many proto types.

if i remember right the front screen was the sierras rear screen.

when robin hood sold out one of the kit mags did a artical on "has the go really gone", if my memory serves me right.

only a few made thank god

marcjagman - 15/9/09 at 09:38 PM

So we just about all agree that it sucks, so who is going to be brave and say they like it?

RK - 15/9/09 at 09:53 PM

No.

LBMEFM - 15/9/09 at 09:57 PM

Looks like a giant yellow toad

nah, its running a 2 lte pinto !

Peteff - 15/9/09 at 11:03 PM

The log book says it's a 1972 Sierra Dutton which I would take to mean Dutton Sierra so it's an early ringer Dutton sierra picture here

true enough! there no such thing as a crap car, or crap song or anything. someone somewhere loved it enough to put it you to everyone.

looks like a double bed on wheels...

Guinness - 16/9/09 at 06:44 AM

For £500 that's got to be the bargain of the week.

A 2.0 Pinto engine, all the donor bits you need and none of the bits you don't, some lights, some front wings and a Dutton log book to avoid IVA?

Mike

deezee - 16/9/09 at 07:19 AM

Why couldn't this car catch fire instead of Jaspers Stylus, somethings just ain't fair.

rallyingden - 16/9/09 at 08:21 AM

He says that the only log book he has found is a 1972 Sierra Dutton......
That does not mean that its the log book for this "car" !!!

Barge pole and not touching comes to mind.

Daddylonglegs - 16/9/09 at 09:11 AM

Stick an outboard on it and it'll do for the Norfolk Broads!

You made a typo, it's spelt with a 'ur', not 'oa'

Best place for it..... at the bottom preferably

cliftyhanger - 18/9/09 at 06:55 PM

but it seems only one person has sussed its true use. A 1972 (therefore historic, free, tax class) logbook, and a stack of bits and bobs. Ideal place to start a blistering "rebuild" into something rather prettier.........
I am sure many of those bits will be useful or at least have some value, even a pinto. (ducks now to avoid the flak)

splitrivet - 18/9/09 at 10:40 PM

You bunch of philistines dont you know automotive expressionist art when you see it, just think of Picasso's painting of a woman with 3 eyes and her t*ts on her forehead ( a bit like a lot of my ex conquests)
Cheers,
Bob

graememk - 4/10/09 at 10:39 AM

apparently a pinto is good for 3000000000000 zillion bhp, so thats going to be a fast car.
