80-90 degrees C will be ideal. But you might struggle to achieve this in the winter. Conversely it will rise to over 100 in summer and sat in traffic (105C before the R1 fan kicks in).

105 before it kicks in - flipping heck! I've got a manual fan override I put on once it gets above about 85.

As Jim said in this weather its difficult to get 80 or 90, cruising on the motorway recently it was under 70deg C at times!

Mine runs at 75-80 on the road. Rises to 85 on the track. Fan comes in at 105 and runs for less than 30sec before cutting off at 100. I tend to over-ride it though as it gets easy to stall above 95.

All of the bikes I've had have a hot running temp of 80 degrees C, so I'd probably aim for the same on yours.

In the manual that comes with the bike it says that overheating is 116+, and that is when the warning comes onto the dash. below that its fine. im sure the normal running temp is around 100?
