Fuel Barb

Does anybody know somewhere online I can order something with a compression fitting to fit 8mm fuel pipe on one side, and an 8mm fuel barb on the other?

See lots of things with 1/8 npt fittings, but i'm looking for a compression end.

Thanks in advance

Can i ask why? Is it to fasten a copper fuel line to a rubber pipe?

Yes, its for the high pressure fuel line, the injection pump is in the rear, and i don't want it coming off.

I see now. High pressure. Are you trying to terminate the hard line with a barbed fitting so you can then connect a bit of rubber hose from hard line to same barbed fitting on pump? Would the same effect be had by putting a brake type flare on the end of the hard line, sliding the tube over and securing with fuel hose clip?

Im trying to think how the OE's connect flexy lines to the hard lines???? I recall my old Golf had what looked like braided fuel lines with screw in connections on each end supplying the injectors (1.8 16V). Dont the rally suppliers sell those snazzy looking anodised connections? Might be worth a look through their catalogues for more cost effective solution.

Do microbore type compression fittings fit the pipe?

How about soldering an 8mm olive on the end of the copper pipe to form the barb?
