hello folks, does anyone know of an airfield or similar than i could rent for half a day to test my car and make adjustments...not road legal and ime in the midlands....thanx

Curborough near Lichfield - use to be an airfield but is now a sprint course. Looking at a couple of hundred quid for half a day mid week testing.
I have used it a few times and it is ideal if you have a couple of mates to split the cost with.

I imagine that would be HUGELY expensive even more so than getting the car dynoed and adjusted.

We have the 'or similar' down here in the valleys....

...they're called industrial estates

I always thought that the word airfield was euphemistic.

Good luck with the testing. I might be in a similar position in a couple of months (hopefully). Let me know how that t16 runs

Im trying to find somwhere to test mine im over coventry way as well. Dont really want to take it on a track day as it would be its first run out but finding a bit of tarmac to run up and down to test brakes steering etc is much harder than i thought it would be

If you need a long bit of straight, then the pit road is actually longer...
