Interesting that, i assumed all would be almost identical. Nice comparison but surely it really doesnt get deep enough into the matter of what micron size it will filter which i think would be slightly more important if changed regularly

Yeah, ive need that once before.
- As you say, it does certainly go a way to backing oem parts.

Again as you say, actual filter performance would be interesting. In terms of micron sizes removed. But as he says that harder to do that you might think.
- JCB where in the process testing a possable change in hydralic filter for the intank filter of there backhoe loaders while i was there, and it takes a lot of time, running diffrent machines with diffrent filters for hours and then taking very careful samples of the oil which where then set anaysis.

Interesting topic indeed.
I understand that at least for high performance engines you need to stick to OEM parts.
