
Hi all after many attemps i think i have managed to post some pics of my progress so far.heres my take on the gear shift design using spherical
bearings rather than the T9 linkages.

The result is very precise gear change,you can feel it going in. oo er!
I love that!! 


Theres only 4 inch of trave from 1st to 2nd so it doesnt feel like your driving a transit!
It took me a week in the workshop to make it and that is revision 3
I'm really impressed!! Not with the gear stick but the fact you've managed to get pictures uploaded onto LC
Seriously though looks mint, have checked the prop clearance yet or asked Dunning and Fairbank how wide the universal joint is? Or maybe someone on
here may be able to say how wide there uj is. Just a thought, looking good though mate.

There was link on the web, how to modify a ford T9 gearbox, to short shifting. But can't find it any more. Like to do it on my build also.
