Just after some advice really. One of my mates up north has in his possession four 1600 Ford/Lotuis twin Cam engines as found in the mk1 & 2 Lotus Cortinas. One of them is fully built with DCOE40's and Duckworth tuned (B4 it became Cosworth). The others are in bits but all pretty much servicable. He also has a 1600GT block and a 1600BDA block, crank and pistons.

He knows these are rare, but basically he wants to find out how much they are actually worth. If any of you could shed some light it would be much appreciated.

Hi mate-newbie here. I think a good rebuilt twink with ancillaries should fetch £1500. Engines requiring a rebuild should be in the £500-750 mark. You could try this site-www.turbosport.co.uk for more info.
