Hello,

Does anybody know what the physical differences between the '04-'06 and 07-08 engines are? Do they share the same exhaust manifold/engine mounts?

I know electrics/intake is different, just wondering if they will fit the same holes.

I'm fairly sure the 07/08 are slightly different engine mounting wise but not miles different.

The exhaust is spaced slightly differently too.

The main differences are the later is lighter, only has 16 rather than 20 valves and has a variable intake length.

I know for a fact the cylinder is the same from 04 to 08 but the pistons are different. Ovbiously the head is different as it had 4 les valves.

The wiring looms is very similar to the previous versions function wise but the ecu is different. If you can wire up the 04-06 the 07-08 is pretty much identical.
