different engines

is there a massive amount of difference in the way that modern fuel injeted bike engines drive in seven style cars? I read one interview where the guy said yamaha R1 and kawasaki are the best and that the honda and suzuki etc are not as suited! The reason i ask is that there is a part built westy busa for sale on pistonheads with no engine but a busa engine cradle. The guy told me that the chassis can accept other cheaper engines (honda fireblade) which would be better because i dont think i could raise funds to build a busa powered car. thanks guys!

Theres different gear reductions in the gearboxes that make soem more suitable for any given application.

Any bike engine 900cc or greater will be fine. The only real consideration is which ratio diff you'll need to gear the car for it's intended application. People have their favourites but Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph, Aprillia have all been succesfully installed in BEC's.
