Having run a 'good' 3.9 in a TR7 for a while, I would think a 3.9 in a 7 would go very well, and it's difficult to imagine one wanting anything even more powerful.

If one did, though, a Chevrolet LS series would be a lot easier, and more or less the same weight, than blowing an RV8
