To colour code, or not to colour code, [my radiator hoses] that is the question

Ok, so I need to plumb in the engine for the Fury at some point, and I'm thinking I'll probably go for silicon hoses, which begs the question?

Do I stay with black, the current colour (looks normal)
Go for a nice Samco Blue
Or a bright orange to match the rest of the car for some added engine eye candy?

I put blue silicone on mine (because thats what it come in normally) but I wish I'd spent the extra to have Orange. Makes sod-all difference to how it goes though and its for driving not looking at.

I ticked blue on the poll because I like blue samco hoses. Then again, I've also just realised that my car is blue so maybe subconciously I did colour match it!!! LOL!!

I used blue Samco on mine, but I wish I had used black. The blue looks too chav IMHO. At the end of the day it is for your benefit! Save your money for bits that actually make it go faster/drive better!

Thats my line.
- Mine are actually just as-was assorted black rubber ones. But if i was going for silicon i would proberbly go for black.
- The cars yellow, and there would be a nag to colour match, but im certianly not a fan of blue on what is a 17year old car. Maybe on clean-line track car with aero screen and light weight alloys. But on a cvh engined narrowbody with the doors and ford lasers im not sure it would work.

Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue

Not because it's the best colour but because all the straights, elbows, reducing elbows etc etc etc are stocked everywhere in blue (such as in merlin motorsport - c combe) so if you ever have a problem or want to expand/move you can get the bits next day, no special order guff

That was my reasoning when choosing blue for the road car anywho
