Richard Quinn has an Aprilia RSV in his car. There are a couple of other RSV's out there too

mmmmmm me like lol, now that is a sound any moor im drooling now lol

Richard Quinn - 21/3/09 at 05:57 PM

There's a crappy video of my first start up HERE At that stage it was just running on the headers (and the smoke is from the exhaust wrap!). The RSV is a 60 deg v twin and is still a squeeze in my Aries Locoblade chassis. I think you would struggle with something like a Suzie TL (unless you went for one of the slightly wider kits of course).

piggy1600cvh - 21/3/09 at 06:05 PM

that sounds nice, im now thinking of a 600 engine nice and light with about 100bhp, if i need any moor power will just add a turbo lol, done it before

Personally i'd say dont do it - not in a se7en sized car. Gearboxes and clutches will be more fragile and seems pointless really when you will save nothing over fitting a 900cc + engine.

Nah do it, just fit the bigger engine first then turbo it

Hayabusa
Or a ninja 1200

Or whatever's big and fast and you can get hold of

you forgot the ZZR1400 and VMax!!

Seiously though - i'd say R1, Fireblade, ZX9R or ZX10R of the newer engines that will need a cat for SVA, or CBR1000, ZX10, GSXR1100 of the older engines.

Or of course you can go for the Aprillia RSV - dry sumped as standard too!!!

Had no idea about the 1400 and vmax. Was just thinking of the most powerful ones I know. Isn't the Busa restricted to 220mph because of the engine noise? Tis something I heard about...
