out a 1998 astra?

i guess it should be fairly obvious what does what, but i want to turn the engine over, need to know what wires do what on the starter.

its a bit confusing, there seems to be red and balck cables all going to the same place on the starter

Quite possibly no help at all but...

(Click on it once to zoom in a bit)

It's a screenprint of my vauxhall TIS, it had no wiring diagram for the astra but did have one for a 1998 Vectra X20xev although this seems to have z22se written on it!
More confused now..??

Can do better than that - I have a spare Haynes Astra manual here if you want one?

Or is this helpful:

The solenoid switched feed is thin black & red, traces back to the starter switch / ignition barrel, and connects to the smaller terminal on the solenoid.

The +ve hi-current feed to to the solenoid starter is permanently wired between the battery and the larger terminal on the solenoid.

The starter and solenoid seem to be earthed in the diagram via the same connection on the solenoid (mine appears to have a braided strap between the solenoid & inside of the starter body) to the chassis / battery -ve terminal.
