most of the driving will be cruising and very clutch light.

I reckon itll make it.

Just dont go racing anything.

My dads car has been on the way for ages.
I tend to be a bit heavier with pulling away quick.

I waouldnt want to be stop start in the bank holiday trafic.

Can I go back and change the poll to M25

he could go round the world so long as he's on the motorway and not climbing any hills

if it starts to slip though, thing will go badly as it overheats and fades

oh it would be so funny if he hit road works, he could cause a 25 mile tail back

Get to know the behaviour re. when the onset of slip occurs - the combination of gradient and throttle - and try to just keep shy of that point and it should get there.
Mind you, it's uphill all the way on my map!

1st in a transit is almost a crawl gear - so i reckon he will be alright in traffic so long as its moving.

according to my TIS there was a massive recall for 2.4 transits eating clutches..

Brum - M40 traffic will get him for sure
