Does Zetec 1.25 fit straight onto type 9?

Also could the standard injection be easily used?

No, it's a Zetec SE which need a different bellhousing.

Does it have an aluminium block?

My 1.25 Zetec is from a 96P Fiesta, and it is an aluminium block, and you can easily re-use the injection system and ecu. I did exactly this on my Mojo.

There are bellhousings available from Shawspeed, Burton Power, Caterham and Westfield to fit the 1.6 version of the Zetec SE engine to a type 9. I expect that they'll fit the 1.25 (and 1.4) Zetec SE as well.

Yes it's all aluminium (designed by yamaha iirc) Also called the Sigma if you're googling.

Also need to take into account that inlet and exhaust are on the opposite side to regular zetec's.

Here's the dimensions and info from Ford.
