i have a stainless manifold done for my R1 carbs and with re-jetting, and pipercross filter set up and it was close to £400

I believe I was quoted £185 for one. Funny thing is when I was working on the Capri a couple of years ago when the bike carb thing started gaining steam thats how much it cost for a V6 manifold!

Yep the filter is around £100 of that.

here's mine when i was running carbs

they are good, but i don't have £200 to spend on something i could really do myself (and probably arse it up again)

I made me own homemade manifold and BB set up the carbs for £80.....

that does sound more like it Craig!
send me the details, i might not contact them right away, i may give it another shot myself first of all (since i've already got all the stuff)

He does MIGing and TIGing I believe and is able to fabricate a lot of underbonnet items (catch tanks, swirl tanks, airboxes). If anybody does contact him could you let him know my name?
