What paint have people used to paint their engine block etc ?

You could use hammerite.... but IMHO it wont last long...

Frost sell some Por Engine enamel.... that would proberably be good...provided you clean the block well first!

I used the POR15 stuff on mine

I'm happy with the result, but if I did it again I'd use some of the silver stuff as an undercoat first (1 or 2 coats maybe) - it took allot of coats of red to get good coverage strait onto the bare metal (even though it says you can paint it strait on)
also it take ages to dry

havn't run it yet though.....

Ummmm engine paint

Available from all good motorfactors for about £4/pot. Enough to do 2 or 3 engines
