But can anyone confirm if the sierra 4x4 diff is the same as the normal diff regarding mounting mounts and size?

Er not quite. Or not in my experience. The case of the non-lsd are a different size to the 4x4, although there isn't much in it.

Yes.

As long as they're all the 7" type.

There are two types of driveshaft, don't forget - push-in and bolt on! Bolts = disc braked on the back, push-in = drums.
