Bike carb (yawn) advise
splitrivet - 18/5/09 at 12:24 PM

Right guys made me manifold, rubbers etc for ZZR1100 carbs (I think Kehin CVK) on a 2litre Pinto just need some advise regards plumbing in.
I have a large tube on the top of carbs connected to all 4 inlet side what does this connect to, an inlet on manifold side which i take it is fuel inlet and a smaller tube that connects from front to rear working its way all round the carbs is this fuel overflow and can it be blanked off.

Also what size to drill out jets should it be needed.
Thanks fellas.

Cheers,
Bob

The little pipe looping round all the carbs is coolant to stop icing up. Not required on a car.

Bogg Brothers are the dogs danglies for jetting etc.

There is an extra air intake that you need to blank off as you will never get in enough fuel for any car and then most people drill out the main jets to 1.7mm.

I am sure there will be someone along more knwledgeable than me very soon....
