Hi all,
Has anyone ever had any experience with these balancers or this type of balancer?
eBay Link
Are they worth getting or will I be better off saving my pennies and spending a little more?
Edit to say its an 893 carbed blade engine.
Many thanks
Mark.

I have these and they work fine for my GSXR1100.
Some swear by morgan carbtune which are more compact and don't need adjustment of the damping (I believe). I doubt many people do a comparison
as either is good.
If you want to go really locost, then there is also a trick where you make a u-tube barometer and connect either end to each carb, but when I did it
all that happened was that I sucked loads of oil into the engine!
Maybe that explains my high HC's at SVA!

I've got them too. They were okay ish. They come with some brass adapters which have a tiny hole in each one but the adapters didn't fit my ZX9 so I had to do some messing.
Bogg Bros and a few others use this type:

But if you can get it to work properly, the manometer-type (like the Morgan carbtune mentioned) looks more accurate.
The Gunsons one seems okay to find out if the carbs are a mile out, but the plastic pellet isn't as smooth or accurate as liquid would be.
