which polo radiator?
john_p_b - 30/5/09 at 08:03 PM

well today i took my indy for it's 1st trip of the year, pulled back on the drive with a big grin on my face

walked back out to the car a few minutes later only to find a little pool of water dripping from the nose cone and my wonderfull custom made rad is leaking.......again....3rd one now!

it's a fantastic radiator, keeps temps right down which is great but the mounting design is shocking in the fact i have to bolt through the cores to mount it so it's no great surprise but i've had enough now!

thinking just go for the polo rad that it seems everyone else uses but can anyone give me a model year to go for or even a part number etc?

cheers
john

If you look on ebay at the mo its the smaller one that measures, i think, 95cm's across the bottom.

95cm is quite wide for a radiator isn't it?!

Do you think this radiator would be ok for the Indy R?

Cheers

Look on Ebay or the early VW Polo and Derby one, I think there usually £28 on there
