whats the best gearbox to fit with a 2tlr pinto engine? 1.6 xflow box or type9 box

I'd say a type 9 -five speed against 4 and not as old, plus in a Locost the gear stick comes up further back so you don't need an extension

The best is a real 2000e with the long ratio first and second but getting one in good condition with all the clutch release bits is difficult.
