
i have a ring gear type trigger wheel,and i need to fix it,how have you lads that are useing on fix it to the crank pulley??

take the crank bolt out, put it through the centre of the trigger wheel and bolt it on in the correct position in relation to the sensor.

Sometimes the flywheel is used as trigerwheel by drilling small 36-1 holes on the side!

Not a good idea as it will upset the balance! All well and good if it was designed that way by the manufacturer, but not a diy mod!
thanks lads,its my fault i thort there was more meat on the ring gear one so i could tap it,the other way would have been get a steel pulley but thats
50quid,so for another 20 i got one with a 11mm hole in the middle,i will also tap 4 holes into the steel thick washer in the middle of the pulley,so
if any one wants a ring gear type i have one
