Hi
Has anyone used one of these, are they any good and can they be used on a Pinto engine ?

Pinto tappets are so easy I wouldn't bother

Ditto that

probably wouldn't work on a pinto engine anyhow. Handy if you have a cranked spanner for both the lock nut and adjustor. Should only take 1/2 hr or so

Used to be called the SPQR tappet adjuster

(1) Won't work except on a pushrod engine --- even then it has to have old school adjusters at the end of the rocker.

(2) They were NBG anyway -- if the thread has any damage due to the lock nut it gives a false reading.

Well, that sorts that out then, it's really confirming what i'd guessed, thanks all
