hi there i have a cupple of questons if there is anyone who knows there stuff,
its about load,i have worked it out but it dont seem right,its for a turbo'd engine.
help

Ive done a bit with megajolts, what do you need to know? have you got a MAP sensor version as you will need it with a turbo.

hi there i have a v3 map, right so far i have sorted a rev range witch is 900-6300,im stuck on the load bins,im starting with 12psi boost,i was told how to work it out i dont know if im doing i right?
ok
12 divide 10=1.2
then take the 1.2 and take it off 12
12-1.2=10.8
then
10.2-1.2=9.6
then
9.6-1.2=8.4
and so on down to 0,so then i convert these numbers to kpa,
now this is the bit in stuck on,the numbers that i have converted range from 8 to 82 and thats 10 numbers.
so is this my loads,if so why are thay so small,i thort boosted maps would have high loads.
i hope some one can help please

The MAP bins should range from 25 kpa on overrun to 200kpa on boost.You need a row at the idle vacuum which will be about 50kpa and then a few between 50 and 100 for off boost driving and then divide the rest between 100 and 200kpa for when on boost.You need to find the areas that are most used by carefull trial and error and base your map around them
