As long as you didnt take anything off (or move owt) when you fitted the wheel then it should still be OK. I assume you have simply bolted the trigger wheel to front crank pulley? Is pulley keyed on? (you would have had to take bolt off to fit the wheel). If key has gone missing then you will have lost the timing position.

i just took the bolt out and the thick washer and glued the trig wheel to the washer and put it back with out moving any thing

What crank pulley bolt did you use? My original puiley was the twin type with long bolt. I fitted a single pulley and used the longer bolt - reason being that the pulley is recessed, but trigger wheel sits flush so longer length allowed good engagement into crank.

I was just asking if the key is defo in place as the pulley may have slipped round. Other than that i cant think of anything else that would knock the timing out just by fitting the wheel.
