hi guys,
i want to make my own exhaust system for my zetec se and want a straight thru system with a motorbike can at the end.
the plan is to use something like a gsxr 1000 or 1300 can as iv been told you can get them with the cat built in, this mean i can swap it about for MOT etc
the only problem i can see is that the engine has a pre and post cat exhaust sensor will the run ok if the post cat sensor picks up exhaust that hasn't been through a cat?
any help or advise most welcome

if you're using the original ecu then it may be a problem. in saying that, using the original ecu may be a problem anyway. the often tend to only like being in the original car.
if you go for megasquirt, then it won't be an issue

the plan is to use the standard ecu and not fit an aftermarket unit till next year.
almost everything is wired up now...apart from the exhaust
