Hi Guys
I am confused as to the options I have for fuel lines. Can someone point me in the right direction for what to use. I am using a blade engine on my
MK. I dont want to spend a fortune but at the same time dont want something which could become a weak point on my build.
If anyone can give me any links to any recomended products, also do you use multiple different materials for the pipes or just one type all the way
through. Also I see some products come in different diametre's, how do I know what size to use? sorry for all the questions.
Please advise
thanks
James

I used the coated ally tube from Tifosi - LINKY
thanks, did you use this all the way through or purchase the kit with braided hose?
thanks
J
When I bought mine they didnt do the kit , so it is just used for the feed and return lines through the tunnel , then rubber to connect to the engine
and tank/filter .
The kit looks quite good though .
i was confused with the fuel line sittuation too, from what i read you had to use fuel line which stated it was for fuel and had a number on it, mk
use copper pipe thropugh the tunnel of the car and then proper fuel pipe at either end. think if you use braided and going for sva it wont pass. i
bought some off ebay only about £10 for about 3 metres. i measured the outside diameter of the pipe comin from the injector and that is the size of
pipe i bought.
i phoned tifosi about 8 months back for there fuel pipe and they couldn get it but if they have it now i would defo recommend using that as it is
very good
Spoke to tifosi and they are not selling the kit anymore as they are evaluating what is required for IVA and should have an answer in a couple of
weeks.
Back to the drawing board now
thanks
J

I used braided on my build. Last car i rebuilt was mk1 golf gti and that got 5/16" kunifer for main lines. If i built again id use the kunifer again.
Kunifer! a bit harder to work than copper but doesn't kink as easily or work harden.
I get the impression that Kunifer is a bit harder to work than copper but doesn't kink as easily or work harden...
