Does the fuel return need to go back to the tank or swirl pot or can i put a T-piece in the fuel inlet?

I dont have a swirl pot, or an return feed to the tank.
Is there any way to have the return feed into the filler pipe?
Yes, you can have the return going back to the filler neck. I can remember my dads Metro Turbo used this method as you could see the fuel coming out of the return if you looked down the filler neck with the engine running.
You can have it returning to a T in the fuel line. Only problem will be you'll have the same fuel wizzing round and round the engine bay so it will get hot and you may get a problem with vapour locking....
