What aspect doesn't fit?

I had two additional pumps aquired from random sources and all 3 were compatible.

What's the cause with yours?

Got any pics?

Cheers,
James

it depends on if they are for a car with a viscous fan or viscous & power steering or neather
Pump types: Linky

I've got a new pump that I think is the one for neither, and a pulley that is for viscous & power steering - I know they don't fit properly

I looked for other pulleys and gave up, so I'm probably going to make up some kind of spacer but I haven't measured it up yet

if you measure yours I'll check what I've got (maybe we could just swap - fingers crossed)

gavin174 - 17/7/09 at 03:20 PM

sorry just reread my original post .....

my problem is the pulley not the pump

sorry for the curve ball!!

I think I understood your problem (I had to read it twice though )

I'm just trying to work out which size of pully you actually need......
