Will my edis 4 module work with a standard blacktop zetec (2001) coilpack and vr sensor (its a 36-1 trig wheel)
Or do I need an original Edis coilpack and vr sensor??? Im confused.com
Also, does anyone have/know where to get an edis plug??
Cheers in advance, Jas Gray
Yes to both so you only need to look out for the plug :-)
Best place to get one is the same place you got the EDIS I guess if you left it dangling there
Also worth knobbling a few foot of loom thats attached, as it comes with some tasty shielded cable for the VR sensor....which you will need unless you
have some of the Zetec's loom with enough in

Cheers for the reply!
Dont think I left the plug dangaling on ebay (fnar fnar)
Got loads of zetec loom for vr sensor!!
What ECU are you using, you will need an ECU to control advance as the EDIS will only give a fixed 10 degs advance.
I will be using MS
You will need shielded cable for the Vr on the edis. The Mondeo didnt use this. The Car the edis came from did.
I will have a look for a plug later on for you.
They are hard to get hold of on there own.
How you getting on with your throttle bodies ?
cheers
Morning mate. Progress has halted for a couple of days (96 hour shift that im right in the middle of)
I think im probobly going to have some one do it for me, Ive been quoted for the work required. Im not skilled enough to make the finger extentions,
or fuel rail, and would feel safer in the knowlege that a competant person has done them!
Shielded wire is avaidable from ebay I think. Or triggerwheels.com
cheers again!
I dont have an edis plug but I do have an Esc plug that can be made to fit if you grind the guides on the side down with a dremell.
If you cant get a proper one let me know and I will bung it in the post with a proper vr cable/plug.
cheers
