primeing a t3 turbo

will i need to prime my new t3,i have the distructons some where but i carnt find them

For mine just to be safe I pulled the coil wire and ran it on the starter a few times to bring up the oil pressure. Did it a couple of times just to make sure.

When I changed the turbo on my 320D however I didn't want to upset the ECU by disconnecting the injectors or similar so I just put loads of oil down the feed pipe. As long as the bearing isn't dry oil pressure comes up very quickly and its not spinning very fast at idle.

i pulled the fuel pump fuse and cranked it for 30 seconds until oil pressure started to build.
