Use 1mm^2 cable which is rated to 16A

Fuse it 10amps

I agree 16A fused @ 10A. The run is quite long and you need to avoid volt drop down the cable. I initially had 10 amp and after a short while the cable was warm to the touch drawing about 7-8 amp.

I did a test on my 72psi pump and it ran at just under 4 amps on all loads, normally the mump will comes with wires, how thick are they ????

Personally i would run 10 amp wire with 8 amp fuse....

but thats just me... it wont cause any problems using thicker wire.
