I am not used to the sounds of my car yet (MK Indy-Fireblade) but is it normal for the transmission to make a loud high pitched whistle when moving, particulary in top above 50-60mph. Barry.

Whistle and whine, yes. It's lovely is'nt it, perfectly normal

Thats great reman, I love that clunk as you put it if first, the clank and whine as you accelerate through the gears and that high pitch whistle, even better now that I know its supposed to sound like that. Barry
