What starter motor is usually used on a 2.0L blacktop & type 9 gearbox

Lucas lrs707 from memory but look it up first. There are others that fit.

You want the one fitted to the 2.0 dohc engine, also fitted to a lot of 1.8 cvh engines. But as always with fords there is more than one type fitted to each car.
